Your review appeared right around the time I started this blog, though I first saw the movie some months before that. Maybe our efforts will build a critical mass of interest someday that earns the film a proper DVD release. CLASSIC write-up of this sadly-neglected movie. There's just so much to love here, and you definitely capture the experience of watching the movie.
