I also have a feeling Fuller spent more money than other series directors, or else knew how to work the budget better. I actually opted in to Encore Westerns as a pay service because I thought the package it came with (FEARNet plus a multichannel on-demand service along with all the Encores) was a better value than the more expensive premium channels. I only regret that Encore doesn't letterbox widescreen movies; the western genre needs that treatment more than any other.Samuel Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934870299522899944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9149411832127844385.post-58859615142831343892011-10-14T09:35:17.406-04:002011-10-14T09:35:17.406-04:00I would love to see this! Sadly, my cable provider changed the station lineup and ENCORE is now extra $$$, it used to be part of the standard package. Forty Guns is good stuff, and so is Fuller's Run of the Arrow, which I saw a long time ago.Samuel Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934870299522899944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9149411832127844385.post-11708513473827652732011-10-08T19:41:22.882-04:002011-10-08T19:41:22.882-04:00The Virginian gets shown regularly on cable TV in ...The Virginian gets shown regularly on cable TV in Australia. I must keep a lookout for that episode. Westerns don't get much more awesome than Forty Guns.dfordoomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02306293859869179118noreply@blogger.com
