By the looser standard, the real record could belong to Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland (2010) which could be called a sequel to Disney's own cartoon version of nearly 60 years earlier.

Chrymethinc, "flat" fits this project, and it'd probably feel the same way if I saw it in 3D.Samuel Wilsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934870299522899944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9149411832127844385.post-34947984154601428932011-04-22T09:50:30.171-04:002011-04-22T09:50:30.171-04:00After waiting 26 years for the sequal to a movie I...After waiting 26 years for the sequal to a movie I really enjoyed as a teen, I was disappointed. CGI effects are well done, but without a decent story, interesting characters and some original ideas, this movie is completely, unmotivatingly flat.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9149411832127844385.post-46921163187783824652011-04-21T23:45:07.484-04:002011-04-21T23:45:07.484-04:00Nowhere near a record. 46 years separates The Wiza...Nowhere near a record. 46 years separates The Wizard of Oz (1939) and Return to Oz (1985).James Rhttp://james1511.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
