A quickie from New York City: the American premiere of a key French New Wave picture.
Note how the opinion of a fellow French director, the maker of Last Year at Marienbad, is treated as sufficient credentials for Agnes Varda's film. Cleo got across the Atlantic quickly by 1962 standards, opening here less than six months after premiering in its homeland. I've seen it and it's pretty good stuff, a decent mood piece and a treat for the virtual time-traveler. Let's see how long it takes to filter out across the country.
For lack of further content let's see the trailer. This version was uploaded to YouTube by cfagallo90.
